Do we get the Whole house to ourselves?
Yes, you do. You wouldn't want a stranger walking into your event and neither do we! The venue is always hired exclusively for you and your guests
Is there parking?
There is a large car park on site which holds 25 cars
Is there disabled access?
Yes, the house is fully accessible with a large lift suitable for wheelchairs
Can you hold wedding ceremonies?
It's what we do best. We have a ceremony license for up to 100 guests in the Gallery or smaller ceremonies for up to 40 guests in the Round Room
What time does the venue close?
Our standard license allows your event to run until 11 pm, however extensions are available on application at the discretion of the council
Can we dance?
Absolutely - the house was created for entertaining!
Can we use the lawns?
Yes, the gardens are included in your exclusive use of the venue. The lawn is the perfect setting for drinks receptions, photos, family fun days and corporate events
CAN WE HAVE A MARQUEE?
Yes the lawn is suitable for marquees. Speak to one of our planners for recommended suppliers, from Moroccan tents to festival stretch tents. There are plenty of options to suit the size, style and budget of your event
CAN WE BRING OUR OWN ALCOHOL?
Yes, alongside our carefully selected wine list we are pleased to offer our seamless and popular corkage service as well
CAN WE USE OUR OWN CATERER?
Strawberry Hill House works exclusively with our in-house caterer, Bovingdons. Exceptions are made for cultural or religious needs, from an approved supplier list
